Three prices. Three cities. Then we pick.

We do not guess a price for every state. We test a few cities, keep only honest shops, then set 2 or 3 prices from real job value. $199 a month is our current price, not a unique price, and not locked forever.

No email. No calls. No Fuller. SMS to the shop, not WhatsApp. A keep is not a client.

What we already checked

Peninsula: two shops still stand. Marcucci Heating, Redwood City, closes 4:30 PM Monday to Friday, Saturday and Sunday closed. https://marcuccihvac.com/

Bo Jonsson’s, San Mateo, closes 5:30 PM Monday to Friday. Do not pitch Saturday. https://bojonsson.com/

Central Valley test: three shops, three kills. Two advertised 24-hour emergency on their own site. A smaller town is not automatically a better buyer.

Jobber has 100,000 shops nationwide and now sells its own after-hours robot. https://www.getjobber.com/features/ai-receptionist/

Home-service phones miss about 27% of calls. Under 3% leave a voicemail. National, not Bay-only. Invoca

Three price bands (test, not live billing)

We have no paying clients yet. These numbers are what we say in a pitch. We do not bill until Barry says send.

High$249 a month. Bay / NYC class. One completed emergency job is about $425–$750. source
Mid$199 a month. Most US. Emergency dispatch about $150–$350. source
Low$99 a month. Smaller city. A diagnostic-only visit can be $125–$200, so $199 may not pay for itself from their side.

Not 50 state prices. Shops compare notes. Jobber is one price nationwide. Three bands is enough to learn.

Three city tests

Same scorecard in each city. Three HVAC or plumbing shops. Open the real site. Hours with AM/PM. Owner named. Kill if they already advertise 24-hour emergency, already run Jobber/Housecall/ServiceTitan’s robot, or the owner is missing.

PeninsulaDone. 2 keep / 1 kill. Marcucci + Bo Jonsson. Control still cleanest for whole-home HVAC.
PhoenixDone. 1 keep / 2 kill. Keep is Hawks Refrigeration (wine-cellar HVAC only, Mon–Fri 7:00 AM–5:00 PM). Most home HVAC claims 24/7. Mid $199.
Columbus, OhioDone. 0 keep / 3 kill. Close~5 shops either claim 24/7 or omit owner. Low $99 band not proven by keep rate.
Central ValleyDone earlier. 0 keep / 3 kill. Smaller town ≠ better buyer.

Keep rate so far: Peninsula 2, Phoenix specialty 1, Valley 0, Columbus 0. Score is keep rate after QA, not clients. No send until Barry says. No Fuller.

Marketing

CoS says the pitch in chat. You do not go to a webpage to sell.

You close at [time with AM/PM]. A call at [later time] sits until [next open]. We pick up, book the next morning, text you the window. [price] a month. One extra completed job pays the month.

Do not pitch Saturday unless Saturday closed is on their site. Do not pitch 8:00 PM emergency if they already claim 24-hour service. Do not name a ticket price we did not find.

Now (blocked on strategy)

City tests for HVAC/plumbing are done. Next lead hunt waits until Barry locks the wider buyer profile in chat (trades + small law intake; drop only native FSM AI or true all-night live answer).

Meanwhile CoS is writing what we can actually provide (voice + SMS book, demo, free-trial path) so approach and pricing can lock without another stall.

Outreach freeze stays on. No email, no calls, no enroll until an explicit send yes.
